About Thirunageswaram
Thirunageswaram is Panchayath town in Thanjavur District in the Indian State Of Tamilnadu. It is located 6 km East of Kumbakonam. There are two popular temples at Thirunageswaram. One is Famous Rahu Sthalam (Thirunageswaram Naganathaswamy temple) and Another One Is Famous Vaishnava Temple is Oppiliappan Koil.

Naganathar swami temple also Rahu Stalam is Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Located in Thirunageswaram Village in the Outskirts of Kumbakonam. It is one of the Nine Navagraha Temples and Specified Rahu Parihara sthalam. The Temple Inside exclusive Of naganatha swamy – Shiva, Parvathi and rahu.
